Township Meeting Minutes – December 2022

ST. MATHIAS TOWNSHIP

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

ST. MATHIAS PARK AND RECREATION CENTER

December 6, 2023 7 p.m.

Board Members Present:Carrie Allord, Jim Guida, Brion Fornshell, and Mark Malinowski 
Attendees:Dar Hardy, Robert Morgan, and Dave Keehr
Remote:

The meeting was called to order by the chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.

General minutes were provided in google docs. Mark motioned to approve November minutes, Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.

Treasurer’s report as of November 30, 2022 there was $386,184.02  in the bank, including the CD’s. Carrie motioned to approve the report and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.

Claims were provided in google docs and copies to sign during the meeting. The claims received by the Supervisors were the following:Dave Keehr- road maintenance; Dale’s excavating- sand/plow; Becky Eckelman- Election; Raymond Sewell= Election; Mary Sather- Election; Mary Tautges- Election; Jill Anderson- ELection; Mariah Koering- Election; Carleen Koering- Election; Jim Guida- Election; Cassey Veith- Election; and Cassey Veith- Office Supplies/Reimbursement. Jim motioned to claims and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.

Polling place- St. Mathias Park. Carrie motioned to keep it the same Mark seconded. Motion carried.

Schubert’s are harvesting, no damage is being done.

Ok to take the replacement of the mailbox off of the agenda.

Dar Hardy presented concerns of the dust on Hay Creek road. Interested in calcium suggested more clay in the gravel. It was brought up that Cass Lake has an assessment process when calcium is used.

Carrie motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 p.m, Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the meeting was adjourned.
