Township Meeting Minutes – November 2017

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

  1. MATHIAS PARK AND RECREATION CENTER

November, 2017 7 p.m.

 

Board Members Present: Becky Eckelman,  Carrie Allord, Jim Guida, and Cassey Veith
Attendees: Robert Morgan, Dave Keehr, and Jody Lodermeier.

 

The meeting was called to order by the chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The minutes were received by the Supervisors via e-mail and after discussion minutes were tabled for clarification.

Treasure’s report as of October 31, 2017, there was $147,465.34 in the bank, including the CD’s. Becky motioned to pay bills, Carrie seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. Orders issued numbering 5290 through 5294 were unanimously approved and paid.

Received the township map review and found some discrepancies. Cassey will email the link for Supervisors to review for next general meeting. Cassey will call Amy Sanda to let her know the map will be sent after the December General Meeting.

Becky is going to call Ann and set up a meeting with the Supervisors to get clarification of 10th street mileage over the years.

Becky will attend the Region 5 Development Commission meeting.

Old Business:

No CenturyLink update because main contacts were out of the office.

Road Review was written up by Carrie and reviewed. There was discussion of hiring a maintenance employee part-time to help with clearing and road maintenance. Most residents’ take care of their own area and Dave Keehr informed the Board from the five (5) townships he works in, all the Supervisors do the maintenance. Supervisors decided not to purse a part-time maintenance employee.

Becky motioned to adjourned and Carrie second, meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm.
