Township Meeting Minutes – May

ST. MATHIAS TOWNSHIP

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

ST. MATHIAS PARK AND RECREATION CENTER

May 04, 2020 7 p.m.

Board Members Present: Carrie Allord, Jim Guida, Brion Fornshell, and Cassey Veith
Attendees: Dave Keehr
Remotely: Mark Malinowski

The meeting was called to order by the vice chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The April general meeting minutes were received by the Supervisors via-email. Carrie motioned to approve and Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.

Treasurer’s report as of April 30, 2020 there was $236,028.62 in the bank, including the CD’s.

Carrie motioned to pay bills, Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. The following claims listed on the agenda were unanimously approved and paid; Dave Keehr, ECM- MCR, Tom Mertens, Cassey and Veith. Added Claims were Crystal DeRosier for gophers and James DeRosier for snowplowing.

Spring Road Review will be Tuesday, May 19th at 4:00pm. Starting at the St. Mathias Park and Rec.

Received the land rent for Schubert and was deposited.

Carleen requested some material for signage for the book exchange.

Township will be applying chemical to the ditch ways to control vegetation this spring. A notice will be added to the Spring Road Review posting for residents to contact Jim with any concerns.

Governor has allowed for Townships to conduct business in person as long as we follow CDC social distancing standards.

Carrie motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 p.m., Jim seconded. All were in favor, and meeting was adjourned.
