Township Meeting Minutes -April 2022

ST. MATHIAS TOWNSHIP

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

ST. MATHIAS PARK AND RECREATION CENTER

April 4, 2022 7 p.m.

Board Members Present:Carrie Allord, Jim Guida, Mark Malinowski, Brion Fornshell and Cassey Veith
Attendees:Robert Morgan, Amy Christensen, Tom Fleischauer, Jason Hinnenkamp, Dave Kehr and Gerald Geisenhof

The meeting was called to order by the chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The March general meeting minutes were reviewed by the Supervisors in google docs.  Carrie motioned to approve minutes and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.

Treasurer’s report as of March 31, 2022,  there was $422,311.77 in the bank, including the CD’s. Carrie motioned to approve the Treasurer report and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. 

The claims were received by the Supervisors in google docs. Carrie motioned to pay bills; Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried for Dave Keehr- road maintenance, ECM- Posting, C. Allord- Payroll, B. Fornshell- Payroll, J. Guida- Payroll, M. Marklinoski- Payroll, C. Veith Payroll, IRS- Qrt 1 taxes, CWC Fair Association- donation, Zone One-donation, Crisis Line- donation, CWC Historical Society- donations and Tom Fleischauer- gophers.

Carrie motioned to approve the St. Mathias Bar and Grill liquor license, JIm 2nd. All were in favor, and the motion carried.

Mark motioned to approve the Knights of Columbus liquor license, Carrie seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. 

90th Avenue had flooding and supervisors put flooding signs out for motorists. The road was added to the road review for possible adding of gravel. 

Resident called about a hole in the driveway from a rusted out culvert and it was added to the road review. 

Jason Hinnenkamp has requested an easement on a minimum maintenance road for power. The request will need to be made with the power company with both land owners. 

Spring road review is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4 at 4p.m. Supervisors will meet at the St. Mathias Park and Rec. 

St. Mathias Park and rec have not received the snow plowing bill as of yet. 

Carrie motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:30p.m, Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the meeting was adjourned.
