A letter was presented by Robert Morgan of safety concerns for CR 131, Sleepy Hollow Road. Clerk will send the letter to Crow Wing County and CC Fort Ripley Township. Also, Clerk will send to the Supervisors before sending it to the Crow Wing County.

Book Puzzle exchange at the Township hall is open twice a week. Plans are on see how it goes to maybe install shelves next year. The fire number is missing and Carleen already called to request a new one.

Becky recap of intersection with street light recommendation. It is on the 5 year safety plan to improve unsafe areas. Spoke with Daggett Clerk and they haven’t made any decisions. There is a grant for install and the Township will only be responsible of the electrical bill, estimated at $20-30.

Fire Meeting recap presented by Carrie, they reviewed the proposed budget for 2019 assessment. Note, increase for new expenditures and there is concerns of losing Townships. City still needs to approve the budget. For our location, it would be hard to move to Little Falls or Pierz, because the North side would not be well covered.

Cemetery mowing this year has been less than previous years.

Becky recap on CenturyLink, reason they were not able to make spring completion dates was due to weather. Now it fall, so I recommend calling and speaking with a Manager to get the ball rolling.

Historical society will take the Township record books. We can still scan in the important documents and place them on a disc. Becky will look into more information, including the cost.

New Business:

The Fall Road Review will be on October 11th at 8am. If available that day, Robert Morgan volunteers to help. A note for the review, there is a tree in the right away to be taken down on west end of 28th street.

Treasurer’s report was sent via-email on September 7, 2017. As of August 31, 2017. There is $308,134.32 in the bank and it includes the CD’s.

Recap of emergency road safety decision made outside general meetings for safety concerns, info needs to be discussed in the following general meeting for documentation. Also, a good remember to contact the Sheriff department so an Officer is not dispatched.
