REGULAR BOARD MEETING

The meeting was called to order by the chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.
The August and September general meeting minutes were received by the Supervisors via-email. Mark motioned to approve August minutes and Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. Jim motioned to approve September minutes and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
Treasurer’s report as of September 30, 2021, there was $360,522.31 in the bank, including the CD’s. Jim motioned to approve and Carrie seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
The claims were received by the Supervisors via-email with the addition of two claims. One for gophers which was split between Clayton Eisel and Tony Eisel. One for reimbursement to Brion Fornshell for laptop purchase with COVID funds. Carrie motioned to pay bills; Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. Dave Keehr- Road Maintenance; Mark Eckelman- Cemetery Mowing; Dale’s Excavating- excavating; Lakes Printing; IRS- Payroll taxes; Brion Fornshell- Payroll; Carrie Allord- Payroll; Cassey Veith- Payroll; Jim Guida- Payroll; and Mark Malinowski- Payroll.
Resident Nancy Williams came to the meeting to inquire about the company we used for ditch spraying. She plans on contacting the company to do more spraying in her ditches. The additional spraying will be paid by Nancy.
Troy Nash, Sheriff Office, came to a meeting as a representative does annually. One topic brought up was the dog ordinance. First step is to contact the neighbor to see if you can resolve the issue. If you can not work anything out, call the Sheriff office to document a complaint and a deputy will contact the neighbor.
Carrie motioned to approve the Road Mileage received from Crow Wing County of 25.615 with no change from previous year, Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
Supervisors, Carrie, will reach out to the land leasee about being mindful of turning around on the Townhall lawn. It sometimes causes ruts to be cleaned up prior to mowing.
Resident Robert Morgan sent an email detailing road measurements and signage on Hay Creek Road. Supervisors will add to the spring road review.
A resident called Supervisor, Carrie, about adding an additional culvert but it is the County Road. Carrie will let the resident know to contact Crow Wing County.
Jim motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 p.m.,Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the meeting was adjourned.
