Township book exchange put news releases in the Brainerd Dispatch and MCR. They have had a lot of calls and people stopping. Also, the MCR article was passed on to WCCO Finding Minnesota and they may do a story on the book exchange. Mary Sather asked the Board, if they contact her again would the Board be ok to have the story done. Board had no concerns.

Mary Sather let the Board know that Crow Wing Township plans to stop providing recycling at the end of the year due to cost. Cost increase is due to the plastic needing to be clean or each load they find with contamination the Township is charged. The Board will reach out to the Crow Wing Township to see how we can help to keep it going, as they feel it is a good service resident do use.

Kelly Park emailed on July 22nd asking about the St. Mathias dog on leash ordinance and was informed we do not have one and, so we fall under Crow Wing County ordinance.
