REGULAR BOARD MEETING

The meeting was called to order by the chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.
The January general meeting minutes were received by the Supervisors via-email. Carrie motioned to approve and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
Treasurer’s report as of January 31, 2021 there was $314,372.87 in the bank, including the CD’s.
Carrie motioned to pay bills, Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. The following claims listed on the agenda were unanimously approved and paid; Dave Keehr- Road Maintenance; Dale’s Excavating- delivery of sand; Crow Wing County of Township Dues; and Crow Wing County Highway- sand.
Board of Equalization Meeting is April 21 at 1pm. Crow Wing will send out a virtual meeting closer to the date.
Newsletter will be in letter format and articles will need to be shorten to fit all the information, and one article will be on the next newsletter. Other ideas for upcoming newsletters is to feature the Supervisors and request topics suggestion from our residents.
Per statue we should have agreements in place for road sharing with neighboring Townships. Jim provide agreements for review. Carrie motioned to approve the drafts and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. Jim will send them to Crow Wing Township and Fort Ripley Township for their approval and signature.
Carrie motioned to pay Clayton Eisle $10 for wrong amount on gopher check and Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
Jim motioned and Mark 2nd the approval of the preparedness plan received via-email. All were in favor, and the motion carried. Annual meeting we will need signage requiring masks and social distancing. Also, have PPE available.
Carrie motioned to approved annual meeting remotely resolution, Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. This was recommend by Minnesota Association of Township in case Minnesota does not allow in person meetings.
Carrie motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:36 p.m., Mark seconded. All were in favor, and meeting was adjourned.
