Township Meeting Minutes – July

ST. MATHIAS TOWNSHIP

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

ST. MATHIAS PARK AND RECREATION CENTER

July 6, 2020 7 p.m.

Board Members Present: Carrie Allord, Jim Guida, Brion Fornshell, Mark Malinowski, and Cassey Veith
Attendees: Robert Morgan and Jason Keehr

The meeting was called to order by the chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The June general meeting minutes were received by the Supervisors via-email. Carrie motioned to approve and Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.

Treasurer’s report as of June 30, 2020 there was $275,821.28 in the bank, including the CD’s.

Carrie motioned to pay bills, Mark seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried. The following claims listed on the agenda were unanimously approved and paid; Dave Keehr- road maintenance, Mark Eckelman- cemetery mowing, IRS quarterly taxes, and reissued check to Land Services due to amount error. Also, PNP reimbursement was received.

June mowing is done and Mark will be mowing for the month of July.

Three (3) surrounding Townships have not organized a date to spray but he said he was willing to still come and spray our Township. Robert Morgan flagged his property so not to be sprayed. Updated the map to reflect Mr. Morgan area. Ditches have been trimmed up for the year. Road sign replacements have been marked and hoping to order with Crow Wing Township to save on shipping costs. Plan to order extra of common signs to replace when needed. Discussion of adding an end of pavement sign on the Weatherbee road.

Carrie motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:37 p.m., Jim seconded. All were in favor, and meeting was adjourned.
