REGULAR BOARD MEETING

The meeting was called to order by the chairman with the Pledge of Allegiance.
General minutes for March were provided in google docs. Carrie motioned to approve minutes, Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
Treasurer’s report as of March 31, 2025, there was $395,903.06 in the bank, including the CD’s and renewal of one CD. The claims received by the Supervisors as the following via-google docs: Dave Keehr- road maintenance; CWC Land Services- property tax; CWC Historical Society- donation; CWC Fair Associations- donation; Lakes Area Rescue- donation; Crisis Line and referral services- donation; City of Brainerd, Legionville- donation; Brion Fornshell- payroll; Carrie Allord- payroll; Mark Malinoski- payroll; Jim Guida- payroll; Cassey Veith- payroll.; and IRS- taxes. Carrie motioned to approve the Treasurer’s report and claims; Jim seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
Treasurer, Brion, will be moving the website domain to a different site which will include a small cost.
Jim motioned to approve the St. Mathias Bar and grill liquor license, Carrie seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried.
Mark motioned to approve a one fee of $550 for CTAS system, Carrie seconded. All were in favor, and the motion carried
Spring road review set for Wednesday, April 23rd starting after the Board of Appeals and Equalization meeting scheduled for 1pm.
Paul Koering, District 1 Commissioner, was contacted regarding a resident’s request to rezone a 40 acre parcel to 5 acres rural residential. The St. Mathias Board recommends that all parcels be a minimum of 10 acres. Paul agreed with the Township Supervisors and stated he intends to vote no, emphasizing that St. Mathias Township has established a precedent of requiring at least 10 acres per parcel.
Dave Keehr rate increased to $130 from $120.
Mark motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:14 p.m., Carrie seconded. All were in favor, and the meeting was adjourned.
